I am very proud to announce my first guest blog post for Liz Carlson’s blog over at Young Adventuress. I’ve been following Liz’s blog for some time now (she just moved to New Zealand this week and I am very excited for her since she has been planning this for awhile) and I even have a link to her blog in my blogroll. If you haven’t checked out her blog already, you should!

A few months ago, Liz asked me if I would be willing to write a guest post about my experience teaching English in Spain with the program I went through, UCETAM. I never wrote a post about it on my own blog because let’s just say I have a very complicated relationship with teaching English.

(By the way, I have always found the ads they use for the Ministry’s program to be ridiculously hilarious. These guys look like students, not teachers! It looks more like an ad for an American college brochure.)

However, I noticed there was very little information about UCETAM online. Most blogs that focus on teaching English in Spain have information about BEDA and Spain’s Ministry of Education progam. So I accepted Liz’s offer to write about my experience with UCETAM and she published the post yesterday. If you are considering teaching English in Spain, I suggest you take a look at it. Not to toot my own horn, but I think I did a pretty damn good job of writing this post and I am very pleased with the way it turned out.
